Guild Wars 2 is an online RPG currently being developed by ArenaNet, and continues the subscription-less business model of the original Guild Wars. The game is set about 250 years after the events of its predecessor in a world devastated by the ancient dragons resurfacing after millennia of slumber.

US Release Date: June 26, 2012

The moving 2D painting thing in the beginning of the vid was not my favorite (It looks too much like Southpark for lack of a better analogy) 
 
However, the second part with 3D environs looked crazy and made me look forward to the second Guild Wars.

i got all the chapters of the first one and i only have one level 20 character...

but i'm hoping GW2 can hook me in some more =D

It looks great but I've got the original GuildWars and I didn't really like it. The fact it was all instanced apart from towns was quite annoying for me because I don't really wanna group up with strangers but I want them wandering around everywhere so it makes the game feel alive.

Oh wow, man. I didn't expect that at all. That was a pretty epic trailer! Does anybody know if it will be the same subscription-free, instance-based style of game? If it is, I'm so stoked.

I can't wait for this game. I loved the original Guild Wars to death. God only knows how many thousands of hours I sunk into it. I imagine the same will happen with GW 2, unless it turns out to be another shallow mindless WOW clone like every other MMO that has come out recently, but this Arena.net we are talking about here so I doubt that will be the case. I have faith in them. erm... ehem... anyway yea SEXY TRAILER!!!
