Guild Wars 2 is an online RPG developed by ArenaNet, and continues the subscriptionless business model of the original Guild Wars. The game is set about 250 years after the events of its predecessor in a world devastated by the ancient elder dragons resurfacing after millennia of slumber.

So lets hear them all; the good, the bad, the derpy. So far we only seem to have organized world vs world nights and the occasional 'escort mission'. There is some suggestions for a PvP night (Tournament Tuesdays I can't run due to prior weekly engagement). Part of that issue is some folks want custom arenas which arent developed yet and others want tournaments and others STILL just want BOMB vs BOMB friendly fighting.

I've scratched my head around a few ideas like a weekly 'random game' where we take user suggestions and pick one like 'one week we all play keg brawl' or 'massive guild costume brawl in the BC arena'. Even a weekly time where we all play a game that isnt guild wars 2! (Mainly free to plays like TF2, Blacklight, etc)

So lemme know what you guys think of doing stuff like this. "An idea for something the Lincoln Force can do together" I'd love to hear about, along with anyone wanting to HOST this stuff. Cause I can't be on ALL the time >.>

I think having jumping puzzle races would be amazing, with money prizes for the top two or three people who manage to finish before anyone else. We could even spice things up and have a jumping puzzle tournament series over several puzzles culminating in the 12-key puzzle in Malchor's or the EB puzzle. Of course those who have done the puzzles would be at an advantage, but if everyone starts at the same time I think the resulting chaos would balance things out (just look at the Mad King's Tower).

Ideally people who are more than experienced with jumping puzzles should spectate and jeer cheer on the contestants.

As for playing other f2p games, I would be down to play DOTA 2 with others, but the issue there is that I don't know of a very easy way to get keys.

Then again, I would get all of that money. And then you guys would feel horrible and quit the game. Are you prepared for that? :)

@Bahloo: The contests would exclude obnoxious German students in med school, and citizens that live in Rhode Island and Canada for legal reasons =P

I've thought about doing that with trophies (since you cant buy them off the TP) + a "here is a screenshot, come find me!" type thing, until I realized there isnt really a way to prove you have all the items because you also cannot mail them

@shinboy630: No, you can have people in certain areas of the game and have people go find them to get moar clues

Shit, I remember when I had time to play this game, sookie´s voice still haunts me.

Ill come back eventually, but my suggestion in the mean time is this: Catch the mesmer, groups get together to hunt Thurb around the world and if they catch him they get a price or something.

Im Orlac btw.

Yeh, full on Orr races, any class you choose, any skills, that sounds fun.
