@Fallen189: Yeah, we are checking it on occasion but many of us are currently attending university, doing graduate studies, or working so hopefully you can understand if response isn't as immediate as you would like. Another issue is that the main guild, Lincoln Force, is at the 500 member capacity so we are having additional members fall under the jurisdiction of our second guild, How I Met Your Mesmer, which I believe has a separate set of officers who would have to be handling the invites to that guild. If I get better information I'll be sure to let you know.

To Everyone: Please make sure you post your account in the Google doc thread if you want to be invited.

Just posting it in here is a good way to make sure it gets buried and never seen by us. The Google doc allows us a much more manageable process of taking care of things.

Just as a heads up to everyone, especially @project343 and @MattBodega, I'll be off and on this coming week, and for the next couple of weeks. I'm starting work tomorrow, as well as ramping up packing for my move that's coming up in 2 weekends, so I may not be on much to toss out invites for HIMYM for the next 2 weeks. After that though, my playtime should be a bit more regular.

Please do not remove me/Jezail Lunaescent from the guild. I recently built a new computer and the whole thing just exploded. My backup computer does not work either, so I have not been able to play.

How I Met Your Mesmer is super quiet. I think I've seen 3 people talk in guild chat, the TS is always silent, and guild upgrades are not being used/placed/queued. I R disappoint son!

@Packfan104L4: Yup. In fact, I was probably one of those three.

I'm online nearly every day, and not once have I seen a guild admin online. Half of the members don't rep it, and there's a massive stack of consistently offline players. Our guild Renown is accumulating like mad, and as of noon today was over 19,000. Only three guild upgrades have been bought, the bare minimum in order to have a vault and such.

In my opinion, some of us who are consistently online need to be put into the Officer slots so we can actually put the guild to use.

HIMYM will be a bit on the quiet side for right now. Since it's just recently been tapped for overflow invites, the overall population is likely only slowly growing as stragglers come in post-launch to join the community. That said, while I can't speak for the other leaders, I've been away from the game basically since Friday (with about a 20 minute stint of spvp this evening before logging off for bed), so I haven't had a chance to do much of anything recently in the game. I'll try to hop on tomorrow evening after work and see what we can do with the influence we've accrued thus far.

Been dabbling around in the 1st human starting area and already seeing I'm in love with this game. The art is so goddamn beautiful. Wow.

I can also see there's a shitload of stuff I have no idea how it works, what stuff does, what to do with most inventory stuff, etc.

How is the GB guild with newbies asking a lot of questions and is there some EU attendance? Would love to join the fold :)

@Soap: It's definitely possible. We're pretty much always at capacity but while checking the roster history I've noticed that a couple of individuals decide to take leave every now and then. As far as who gets to fill those few openings when they materialize, I've not been made privy to the process as of yet. I said it earlier in this thread, but it's also ridiculously long now so I'll repeat it, that as things settle down and some inactivity starts to set in among members that we will be moving the less actives to HIMYM and relocating all of the actives together into Lincoln Force, that way we can try to maintain as active and fun of an environment as possible. I hope that helps to answer your question.

@Fillem: I'm not too sure about our EU representation in either of the guilds, but if you need help or have a question we're all willing to help out. As for general newb tips, I would just recommend playing for the first 11 levels or so to get used to the game, and then asking any specific questions by opening a thread or posting your questions in an existing thread. You'll prob get more detailed answers here.

To be fair, considering there's over 200 members in the overflow guild, hardly anyone is usually online, and most of those people don't chat :/ If you ask a question and I'm around I'll try to answer it.

Would also be awesome if a higher up in the overflow guild could just spend some influence on research in each of the areas so we can use better upgrades. That or upgrade someone more active or has more info on it and let them do it.

(This was in no way meant to sound patronising, so my apologies if it did so. I fully appreciate how busy a lot of people are in the guild, particularly the higher ups, but it does mean that our influence isn't being put to any use!)

@RobbieMac@Dark_Lord_Spam :Just picked 2 random US officers to send this to as a suggestion. I know we have multiple tiers of the guild bank and last i checked the lowest tier was open for withdrawal/deposit for all guild members. I think thats pretty awesome because I'd rather share things with guild members than put them up for sale and the bank makes it super easy. What I would like to request is if you guys would open up the high tier storage for deposit only for all members (and probably fill all the bank slots to avoid useless item deposits) so that I, and others, can give you my gold. You guys have goals in WvW and such (like getting thurb's commander book and blueprints/seiges). You also have had to sink a ton of gold into expanding the guild cap to max but theres no good way to contribute to the guild. If you can think of a better way to do this I'm all for it. I've never loved taxes but I will gladly, voluntarily, give you the money I can spare. Make it easy! please?
