Since it's worked for other games on the forums, and even though it is only in beta I love taking screenshots, I figured I would create an officially unofficial Guild Wars 2 screenshot thread. Incredibly beautiful or incredibly dumb, post them all! I'll start it off.

The only screen I took. The only worth while screen in my opinion.

Disappointed in the look of the game, specifically the workflow the 3D artists have used (randomly mapped textures and needlessly high poly assets), to the rendering passes that they used (looks flat, no depth, HBAO or cheap SSAO could have helped, rim lighting and fresnel on shaders). It's a shame since they have some of the best concept artists in the industry. 

@warxsnake: Maybe that is why they are hiring 3D artists. But that aside, I really like the look that the game has.

Man I'm lovin all these photos, the game is so beautiful and emotive. These are just me having old school WoW style fun and seeing what buildings I can glitch up to the top of.

I didn't get around to take screenshots during BWE2. I was too busy playing the game. But I just stumbled over this timelapse video of GW2 environments from BWE2. Quite stunning... have a look!

I didn't take many screens, I did record some PvP and a few other things though.

Higher resolutions were wonky with some graphics cards.

@UssjTrunks: The shades could be purchased in the Trading Post with gems. There were four or five different pairs of glasses, I think.

@UssjTrunks: Nice work. I think the highest I have gotten was 185 (no pics here either). I've never gotten more than 2 or so kills though - I focus on sneaking and point capturing. ie, as it were a mini WvW.

The first pictures that are in this thread...

...that interface is sexy as fucking hell. It's so...minimal... I can see the GAME!

THAT alone gets me more excited for Guild Wars 2 than anything, even though GW2 itself gets me excited.

How are you guys taking screenshots? I've been taking screenshots with Steam but since I have to hit the F12 key the "Do you want to quit the game?" thing pops up in a majority of my screenshots. Man, I miss my character Snow Spot again. I can't wait for the next BWE.

Also, someone sent me chili through the mail. I have no idea what that was about.

@insane_shadowblade85: Prnt screen saves it to your documents. Shift + prnt scrn is defaulted to take one with no UI. There's also the ability for high res shots, which isn't set to anything at default.
