Not sure if this belong in the Guild Wars 2 part of the forum. If not. Apologies in advance.

But I guess it does. Since am talking to the community, you guys.

Any special game you guys are playing while waiting for Guild Wars 2?

Reason am asking is that

1. Am insanely bored in the evenings! With no good multilayer game to play atm (my lady is trying to force me to watch her drama shows. So you could say I need a excuse:)

2. Would be nice to get to know the community a bit before launch.

3.Just perhaps give me a tip of any good game

I just got my early-download key for Darksiders 2 : D

Not gonna be playing anything else methinks. Though some of us play LoL, ARMA2 and GW1.

What I should be doing is try to get more points in my hall of monuments in GW1 but what I actually do is play Dota 2. =/

I'm playing an absurd amount of Team Fortress 2 while waiting.

I'll be playing Darksiders II as well.

Im playing Guild Wars Factions for the first time (I own that one), if I can get it done fast enough im thinking to try and play Prophecies and Nightfaill before I play GW2.

Free stuff like Team Fortress or League of Legends is kind of fun for a while.

Okay. Any use getting onto the Mumble server? Just thinking if there is any life there before launch.

Ayeah. Good old Borderlands. I played about 50 hours of that the past 2 month. Great game:)

Counter Strike GO comes out on the 21st lol! My two most anticipated releases of the year, and they come out 4 days apart.

I just finished Darksiders today, and I'm waiting on Darksiders 2 and Sleeping Dogs. I pre-ordered them both not realizing they were being released the same day. >.< doh!

Either way I got my hands full for the next week and a half or so with those 2.

Also, the ending of Darksiders totally gave me goosebumps! Can't wait to play Death!

I've been playing some Firefall beta, some RaiderZ beta, and the beta to a sequel of a really popular MMOFPS from just under a decade ago that I don't think I can talk about. And I'm dying to get my hands on Darksiders 2 next week.

Battlefield 3, what else? As for non-online games. Darksiders 2's gonna be the shit, and if you're into Guild Wars 2 (fantasy setting & loot & such), then it should be right down your alley. Sleeping Dogs looks like good fun.

And I'm sure you haven't played every great game in history yet. Nobody has. Just get over yourself and play a game you haven't gotten any hype for. Like Dawn of War 2, peferably the Orc campaign. Captain Bluddflagg and Mr. Nailbrain approve.

I'm 150 hours deep in Skyrim, but it looks like my save might be corrupted, so... I guess I should go finish DiRT 3, which I haven't touched in a month.

Wandered back to WoW for a very short time, don't think im going to be happy until I am in Tyria

Iron Brigade comes out on PC this week, you should give it a try, only $15 and it comes with DLC!

I'm desperately trying to use a VPN to get Steam to unlock my Darksiders 2 early (as a member of the EU we get it the 21st -_-) but failing that I will continue to play some Spy Party beta.

Just got my invite to the World of Warplanes beta so ill be playing that.

I have been trying to get a Firefall beta key with no luck

Shame, cause I really like what I have seen of that game. Of well..back to browsing steam!

PS: yeah getting Darksiders 2 the 20th compare to tomorrow for the US sucks:/

Oh man, Technic is great. I seem to spend most of my time in it making bigger and bigger automatic diamond generators (using flowers no less!).

I've been revisiting GW1, and just beat all 4 campaigns in it so I'll probably try and do the post-game stuff that came out after Eye of the North since I haven't seen that before. Been doing some Skyrim too so I can check out Dawnguard, but I seem to be unable to stick to a build so I haven't gotten very far yet.

It really is true though, after playing GW2, all other games just aren't as fun.

Star Trek Online is decent for a while, if you're into the series.

yeah another vote for darksiders 2 for me, can't wait for the game, looks fantastic and i enjoyed the first one, really like the new things in this one, much more my rpg elements flavor.

will also be getting sleeping dogs from gamefly, so we shall see what thats like too.

otherwise for online, i enjoy blacklight retrobution for F2P shooters, and being a fixit guy in tribed F2P.

I thought the Great Destroyer was pretty tough, but pretty much all the other stuff was pretty easy. Funny enough, I actually died a ton on Iron Mines in the Prophecies campaign because I forgot how to deal with the second set of siege engines and kept getting torn apart by them. Then after I figured it out the first time, the NPC you need to escort died like 2 minutes from the end of the mission...

The Terrorweb Dryders in River of Souls actually managed to wipe me a couple of times too. I just decided to use Master of Whispers as a sacrifice to eat that first Liquid Flame and that make them cake.

Also, who else was totally floored when they realized that they could use a full party of heroes instead of 4 like it used to be. That alone makes the game a LOT easier.

Didn't get into the Firefall beta, or the Raiderz beta, and I'm not in the first wave of the-fpsmmo-that-shall-not-be-named beta. And Darksiders isn't out until the 20th here. Bollocks.

@shinboy630: I still want to play some GW1 with some lincoln force duders, haven't been back to it since I got my 30/50. I never touched the winds of change stuff either but it looked pretty tough.

I'm sort of in the same boat as the OP. I went back to GW1 and was able to get up to 30/50 HoM without re-learning how to play the game by just buying/selling pets and armor. I jumped into a couple missions and realized that I had forgotten almost everything about the game after being away from GW1 since a few months after the release of EoTN.

I was playing TERA for a while, but god the endgame in that sucks. Just getting on GW1 for a couple days to earn HoM stuff was enough to make me unsubscribe from TERA after realizing how little fun I was having.

DayZ and League of Legends basically. Those are the things I play to keep myself occupied.

Wish I had looked at this thread earlier. i have been trying to get into the firefall beta for what seems like an age.

Anyway I'll go back to WoWP it's pretty fun.

Just found Counter Strike force...

Great, 2 hours before the stress test and I get my firefall beta key. Well I guess that's my weekend sorted

I went back and started playing Republic Commando again. Great game.
