The Lincolncast Episode 39: Our Many Grievances

In our longest episode ever, we actually talk about Guild Wars 2 for the vast majority of it! This week's discussion centres on the The Gathering Storm update later in February, and the straw that broke the camel's back for Thurbleton. Along the way, Snow People make a glorious return (especially in the out-takes), I lament "women's fiction / fantasy", Dourin throws down his final thoughts on Antichamber and more.

Topics for the week:

  • Dourin finished Antichamber and really wanted to talk about it, apparently.
  • We shout out a bunch of "things we love", which can be seen in the plugs below - including An Unbelievable Truth, My Drunk Kitchen and Scishow.
  • Noob is sexist, I hate "Women's Fiction" and think IT is sexist, Dourin ads some general thoughts and Thurbleton thoughtfully obtains from comments in general.
  • Minecraft is discussed. Because it is 2013. Thankfully we veer away from that and instead talk about House of Cards and In the Loop.
  • Oh, and then we dive into about 3 hours of Guild Wars 2 talk.
  • Me and Noob talk about the potential plot surrounding the Flame and Frost events springing up this year.
  • We talk about the many changes to sPvP for (generally) the better.
  • And then we spend the rest of the episode talking about Dub v Dub, and what Arenanet is doing about it.
