Guild Wars 2 is an online RPG developed by ArenaNet, and continues the subscriptionless business model of the original Guild Wars. The game is set about 250 years after the events of its predecessor in a world devastated by the ancient elder dragons resurfacing after millennia of slumber.

Here is the new Guild Wars 2 Design Trailer. It really needs to be viewed all the way through. Pretty amazing for a design video.

The game certainly looks good. There's a bit where a mage casts a line of fire and someone else starts using it to whip fireballs at people. I hope there's a lot of stuff like that in the game. I enjoyed the first GW, and I'm optimistic about the sequel.
