    Overview

Gunman Clive is a run-and-gun 2D platformer with a cowboy western theme. It was first released on Android platforms in 2012, before moving to iOS, Steam, and the Nintendo 3DS eShop. It would later be bundled with its sequel, Gunman Clive 2, in a HD Collection package for Wii U, Switch, and PlayStation 4.

The goal is to move across each stage, occasionally jumping across platforms or climbing ladders, shooting down enemies that appear. The hero can collect different weapons such as a spread shot or lasers to improve their damage output. There are also alternative playable characters, one of each is unlocked after completing the game. Gunman Clive makes notable use of color: the backgrounds have a washed-out, sepia look though all the character sprites, including the protagonist, have their own hues to distinguish them.

    Reception

As of late December 2013, Gunman Clive sold 250,000 copies with the majority being sold on the 3DS eShop.
