    Overview

    Gyromancer is the most prominent competition to the Puzzle Quest series, with a duo of high profile developers behind it: PopCap Games and Square Enix.

    Gameplay

    Gyromancer is a puzzle-RPG transparently inspired by two of the most successful game franchises of the past decade: Pokemon, for giving the player a collection of beasts that can battle for you, and Bejeweled (more specifically Bejeweled Twist) for its clockwise rotating puzzle mechanic.

    Each stage of the game contains its very own set of objectives, which range from defeating the beasts that block your way to solving various puzzles.
