The Halo 2 Multiplayer map pack was a map pack for Halo 2. It included nine multiplayer maps that had been added as DLC post-launch and were available for download over Xbox Live. The disc was provided for people who wanted to play the maps but could not download them. The disc included three map packs, comprising nine maps total, along with some bonus videos for people who bought the disc. The contents of the disc include:The Bonus Map Pack
-Containment
A large snowy area set near Delta Halo's Library. The largest map in Halo 2, very conducive to big team and objective games.-Warlock
A remake of the Halo: Combat Evolved map Wizard. This map is 4-way symmetrical, making it perfect for multi-team games.The Killtacular Map Pack
-Sanctuary
A smallish symmetrical map, set amongst scenery highly reminiscent of the campaign level "Delta Halo"-Turf
A small asymmetrical map set in the back alleys on Earth. Notable features of this map include a downed Scarab walker and catwalks that can be lowered.The Maptacular Pack
-Relic
A medium-sized asymmetrical map, designed for Capture the Flag and assault matches. Includes a teleporter that can be unlocked with a switch, and a Jackal sniper tower, the only one in Halo multi-player.-Terminal
A medium sized map set in an Earth train station. At random intervals, a speeding bullet train will pass through the stage, instantly killing anyone or anything on the tracks.-Elongagtion
A remake of Halo: Combat Evolved's multiplayer map Longest, Elongation features two conveyor belts moving crates through the area.-Backwash
A map set in a foggy swamp. This map had to be removed from matchmaking due to problems with the 360's backwards compatibility engine on this map, which caused undue lag for all players.-Gemini
A small map set in a Covenant city, with a giant statue of a Covenant prophet in the center of the map. This map is loosely based upon the level "Duality" in Marathon.Bonus content
The disc also featured a documentary about the process of making all nine maps, recorded at Bungie Studios. It also included a small cutscene that told a side-story on the level Outskirts, of what happened to the marines in the Pelican that is shot down in the intro cutscene.
