Who would rather see a Halo 2 remake over a Halo 1 remake? I would KILL to have a new, updated (and by updated, meaning the full multiplayer suite, with stat tracking etc on Waypoint or something) and fully supported Halo 2 multiplayer again. I played so much of it and have such fond memories of it, I really miss playing it. I have the Halo 2 Vista edition, but it just isnt that same....

Halo 2 arguably had the best maps in the series (Ivory tower, TURF, Relic...) and what I felt to be the most fun gameplay of the series. The glitches were really fun too, I remember spending hours on Headlong glitching to the top and messing around.

I duno, I would rather see CE, since you can effectively get an "HD" version of Halo 2 by buying the Vista version (as well as get achievements from it).

I'd rather Halo 2. Halo CE was too repetitive.

No, Halo 2 had a dreadful campaign and Reach's multiplayer is already better.
I also don't buy into the idea of constantly remaking games..  I'll let CE slide as it can at least be considered a classic game with a lot of nostalgia behind it (though I still don't see why it needs done).

I think people want Halo CE (those that do) because of the multiplayer and the weapons particularly the pistol.  I remember a lot of complaints about the weapon changes for Halo 2.  I, myself have no interest in Halo CE being remade, but that's because I only play the single-player parts and I have no desire to replay "The Library".   I'll wager a guess that if Halo CE HD is successful, Halo 2 will get the same treatment down the line.

I vastly preferred Halo 1 to 2. Still think has the best singleplayer in the series, even with "The Library". Also, it's more appropriate as the ten year anniversary approaches.

When it comes to Halo 1 for me, nothing beats original 16 player CTF Blood Gulch. Nothing.

Ugh jesus no, not Halo 2. I hate that games single player with a passion. The story is just a cluster fuck of story board ideas all thrown together without and adhesive to keep it together. Halo: CE all the way.

I really like Halo 2 and thought that CE had all kinds of nasty flaws (yo level design). I don't really want a remake of either though, since all those games are pretty much steadily improving versions of the same gameplay.

If they did this, they would just remove all the fun glitches you remember and update the gameplay similar to Reach. There's no point. Halo 2 is dead. Rest in peace.
