I played the strangest game of zombies yesterday.....
Map: Zanzibar
When the game first started, I went right for the warthog and I drove it all the way in the corner behind the seawall. As I mounted the turret, I scratched my eye because an eyelash was stuck in it. Then, out of nowhere, all these zombies started coming out of the seawall. One by one, I started taking them out with the warthog turret. Sometimes it was hard to see, since the blood from the never-ending onslaught of zombies splattered all over my helmet.
This lasted for about 30 minutes....
30 minutes later, and I am the last of the red team; the only survivor of the group. I was getting tired, and so were the zombies. After all that time, they finally stopped approaching me from the seawall. There was an erie silence. Since my hands had become sore, I enjoyed the break. But as quickly as the break had come, it started to phase out.
In the distance, I heard the sounds of an energy sword hitting something hard. For every second that passed, the sound grew louder. The sound seemed like it was coming around the big entrence on the other side of the seawall. For some reason, I had a feeling, almost like this was the end.......
And sure enough, I was unfortunetly correct.
As I glanced where the entrence of the seawall was located, I saw something large coming around the corner. I couldn't tell what the object was at first, but when it made itself completely visible, that's when I knew what the zombies were up to, and I knew for sure that my life was coming to an end.
It was a box! All this time to find out that it was an oversized box! Ahhhhh, but not just any box! This was the box that would lead them to victory, and my death. Behind the box, about ten or more zombies were slashing it continuosly, causing the box to move slowly towards me. At first I laughed, and I tried to use the turret to eliminate them. The turret failed to do anything. The box was shielding them from any attack that I could have tried. To make matters worse, about four zombies were hiding around the seawall, making this a two-sided attack. I tried to drive away, but the vehicle wouldn't move. I was trapped. Stuck in the corner with nowhere to escape, I sat there, pathetically.
The box was now about 20 feet away.
Now it was ten feet away.
At that moment, I started to tremble. I was thinking about running away, but that wouldn't help.
The box finally reached me. About ten blood-thirsty zombies came from behind that oversized box, and they all wanted to tear out my flesh with thier glowing energy swords.
You can probably guess what happened for yourself. Never again will I underestimate the power and intelligence of the zombie.
