Looks like yet another Halo game...

Looks alright. Not a huge fan of Halo, but I will probably end up buying this.

Looks awesome.  I can't wait for this and Halo Wars.

As much as I bash Halo in front of you crunch, I have to say I'm kind of excited about this, and Halo Wars. (Don't tell anyone, though I'm sure you probably will.)

i'm also very excited since i heard it was open world (omg!). Open  world seems to be an ever more frequently reccuring theme for games. the new genre of choice."

It's not open world. There's a small hub world which allows you to choose the order you take the flashback missions in, but it's nothing like the open world in GTA or anything similar. More like the castle from Mario 64 in that it's like a hub world."

Looks cool. I like how its a bit more stylized than halo 3.

You know, I would love a game that actually looks like these concept arts.

The 4th shot is basically the storm from Halo 3.  So I guess we're going to have some missions that cross over directly into the chief's story?

1st shot is very remninscent of turf in Halo 2
2nd screen reminds me of that beam thingy from Halo 2.

And recon armor is a type of ODST armor for I'd imagine higher ranks? That's neat.  Wonder about other mp armor in Halo 3.

Well theres one shot here that looks incredibly similar, and in general, concept art this generation for bigger budget games looks very close to the actual thing.

There really wasn't much Halo 3 concept art released aside from stuff on the halo 3 dvd and that booklet which is illegal to post, but this what snowbound's interior doors were in concept art form

smugdarkloserr - it's in new mombasa so yteah of course it reminds you of halo 2
