Personally I always found Halo 3's multiplayer and gameplay in general to be of a higher qaulity than COD 4. Firstly I found the net code in Halo 3 to be better with less lag spikes and problems associated with this. I never found COD 4's gameplay to be that great either, the multiplayer is basically a corridor shooter with only a few open areas. People tend to run around the map aimlessly shooting each other in confined spaces. Halo 3 cops a lot of criticism and I could never understand this. By no means is it an a "amazing game", but there seems to be this perception that it is somehow a childs game and the holier than now COD 4 players herald there game as the "ONLY FPS"

Who cares.  Just enjoy the game.  They are both great games.

No one should care who has the top spot in this unless you're one of those "omg halo 3 is the best game ever" fanboys. Plenty of people obviously love both games,so don't insult one or the other,play what you like.

They are both good games in their own right... Personally COD4 is a better game for me, but I do like Halo 3 also. Each to their own in this case.

I believe that CoD4 has the better multiplayer. But I do have to admit....I love Lockout/Blackout! My all time favorite Halo map. But I will still continue to play CoD4 online more than Halo 3.

Nice i just got back into there recently and realized how good it was...   again.  But COD4 is alot of fun to though.
