I just recently got back into the multiplayer stuff in Halo 3. Like literally a minute ago I was in a Lone Wolves match. I forgot how awesome Halo 3 was. The community seems more mature than last time I've played. Is it because most of the 12-year old boys went to CoD4? Or maybe it was because it's a little late for the kiddies.

Needless to say, I'm still totally hooked on the multiplayer and the community doesn't suck as much as I remember. Anyone else have the same experience of going back to a game after a long time and loving it?

yes, i love playing halo the ranking system makes it so every game you play is competitive i love it.

I can't play ranked cause it gets really frustrating but player is good

me too. man it's awesomely addictive. and when i get frustrated i just work on my forge creations or pop in geras for some sniper fun :D

I've had that experience plenty,just not with Halo 3. And since it hasn't been all that long since I played it last ,I really don't know what you're talking about the community is more mature,you must be one very lucky person to not run into all the 10-12 year olds,because I still constantly did every single fucking game.

Nah, it's too frustrating, no game should be that frustrating.

I don't even bother to turn on my microphone if I am playing during the daytime because it's full of kids which 80% of them like to call you certain words for no apparent reason. However, After midnight it's usually just hardcore geeks and stoners which is much easier to communicate with.

It would be more fun if I wasn't trying to get to lvl 50. It makes every ranked match stressful...

At this point, I pretty much only play late at night. You always meet someone who's totally cool, most players are decent, and the lack of kids is always a plus.

But damn, some of those players on Lone Wolves are NO JOKE.

50? I'd be happy with 45 at this point...
