I think people need to realise that some things are popular for a reason.

People who like Halo are able to appreciate a well-crafted game. Those who do not like Halo are reasonable people that realize that while it is a well-crafted game, it just isn't their cup of tea.

I still don't understand how people have "bad taste". There are only different variations of "different taste". You can't even have "good taste" since it's all purely subjective. Unless of course you are comparing your taste to someone elses taste... then I guess you could say they have bad taste if they like things you don't, but even then... that's just "different taste".

Also, bullet-point lists for generalizations and FLAMEBAIT fail.

I agree that most Halo players are just sheep following the herd but the mainstream shouldn't and doesn't reflect all Halo players.
