I say "no" because I already have it on 360, and I prefer the 360 controller for shooters and the interaction on Live. I'm sure if it did go multi, it would work.

Probably not. Game is pretty old now and I feel like I already have Resistance and Killzone to cover the "exclusive shooter" bases for my PS3.

I dont know why, since I bought it on release day for my 360, but I would buy it again for my PS3, there is something funny about that for me XD

If it was the only console I owned I would. Still my favourite 360 multiplayer shooter to this day.

Well it all depends really, part of what makes Halo nice is its integration with Live party and chatting and matching up system, if that was guaranteed on the ps3 or there was a way to paly the 360 community form the ps3, yeah of course I would. But if I would only play other ps3 guys that own Halo, I wouldn't want to, there are other better shooters out there.

No. First off, I already have it on the Xbox 360, and secondly, it is an incredibly frustrating game and I am pretty much through playing it. Yes, it was a fun experience with friends for about 3-4 months, but once we all were in the upper-40's ( in Team Swat and Slayer ), most of us just hit a wall skill-wise. It got to the point where we would have had to play 4 hours a day, every single day to have even the slightest chance against the MLG PRO HAX0R!!11! -terminators that started to appear in the matchmaking. It wasn't about casual fun anymore, and it sucked the entertainment out of the whole experience.

I have learned that I don't have the time nor the interest to play a single console-FPS 24/7, so no, Halo 3 is pretty much a bust in my eyes.

A better question is, what if Halo 4 was on the PS3. Everyone who likes Halo already has Halo 3 on the 360, and has played the shit out of it.

I played it some with my buddies on their 360s before I got my own and its a great game and all, but its not for me. I enjoyed COD4 and Battlefield Bad Company a lot more. MAG is also looking to be reallllly amazing.

Also, PS3s matchmaking is not very good (but its free), part of what makes Halo3 work is the matchmaking is good. Even now I play games and they havent picked up on how halo3's multiplayer was good and how to steal it. Not to mention no party mode. x_x" And severe lack of headsets.. Hopefully MAG ships with headsets, that would be nice.

Long story short, PS3 doesn't need Halo, and Halo doesn't need the PS3. Nobody really wants it, not that it would happen =P

There is no way in hell I'd ever purchase Halo 3 for the PS3...not that I have anything against the PS3, but I really don't like the DS3 for shooters. It also may be important to mention that I'm not really the biggest Halo fan either. :P I must say that the usual disadvantage of no/crappy voice chat on the PS3 may actually be a positive in this situation...Halo 3 minus pre-teen douche bags?
