Its here.. Halo 3 has finally graced us with it's presence.

First off i will start with telling you that the graphics are not revolutionary like Gears of War or Bioshock but they are still good. It's the multiplayer that is the masterpiece of this game.

So ill begin with the Campaign. As you know the story starts off where Halo 2 finished, Master Chief crashes down on Earth and you pretty much start off from there. I'm not going to tell you what happens for those people who dont have the game yet. The Campaign is alright to start with but it builds up towards the end with a great last chapter. It's just about worth to go through it again on the higher difficulties for the achievement points. There are four difficulty settings: Easy, Medium, Heroic and Legendary. The one which you want to be starting off with even if you are a Halo novice is Medium because the enemy AI is far too easy to overcome on Easy. Heroic is a challenge if your on your own and Legendary is pretty much impossible without doing it on co-op.

To the best part of Halo 3 then, the Multiplayer. Bungie have made improvements to the multiplayer. You can now record video clips or take screen shots of matches or missions from the campaign and upload them on to your file share so everyone on the Halo 3 network can see them. They have created a game mode called Forge where you can edit the weapon and vehicle placements in a map and play on that map on line with other people. You can play with up to 16 people on Xbox Live.

Overall Halo 3 is a great thrill ride that shouldn't be missed.

I'll focus on several aspects in my review which I feel are important in any game, So let's begin. The Story. Continuing on from the end of Halo 2, which was very much disappointing, Master Chief had just arrived back at Earth to 'Finish the Fight', we see his ship crash into Earth's atmosphere and down in the jungle. You then find out that the Covenant have been excavating a huge hole in a part of the earth near New Mombasa. They've uncovered a huge Forerunner device, The Ark. This Ark is the...

Finishing the fight lives up to the hype, and then some. 0

Halo 3 is one of the most eagerly anticipated games ever made. The first Halo was a landmark achievement in not just first person shooter, but in gaming as a whole. It had incredible visuals, a great story accompanied by great music and voice work and absolutely perfect shooter gameplay. With so many gameplay innovations; such as the rebounding health meter and the limited weapon carrying it was probably the best console shooter since Goldeneye and probably the best console shooter, along with i...
