Hi, I'm stumped on this, what is the difference between to two? I've completed the campaign, and I think I missed the bit where it said anything about it.

Red ones seem to be controlled by the Didect. In a terminal the Librarian touches some orange ones and turns them blue... so they're not under his control, I guess?

When you first see the didact he turns blue ones into red also.
