Banshee

The Type-26 Ground Support Aircraft, better known as the Banshee, is an air assault vehicle used by the Covenant in the Halo games.

Battle Rifle

A full-size rifle designed for military use that fires a high-power rifle cartridge. Unlike assault rifles, they are more suited to longer ranges rather then shorter ones and typically fire semi-auto or burst fire rather than full auto.

BR55 Battle Rifle

The BR55 Battle Rifle is a UNSC gas-operated projectile weapon. It fires a larger caliber bullet than an assault rifle, giving more power but also more recoil.

Designated Marksman Rifle

The gameplay successor and chronological predecessor to the Battle Rifle, the Designated Marksman Rifle, Caliber 7.62 mm, M392 (DMR for short), is a mid-to-long range semiautomatic combat rifle featured in Halo: Reach, Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians.

DMR

The Designated Marksman Rifle is a bridge between the infantry and sniper.

Energy Sword

A Covenant energy-based melee weapon found in the Halo universe.

Fusion Core

The exploding barrel of the Halo series.

Ghost

A light, high-speed reconnaissance ground vehicle in the Covenant arsenal, the Ghost hover-bike can pack quite a punch in the hands of a skilled pilot.

Gloves

A garment made for covering the hand.

Gravity Lift

An object in the Halo Universe that propels a person or object into the air. It is mainly used for transportation but different variations can serve many purposes, such as hurling respawning objects towards players or other objects.

Grenade

A grenade is an explosive device traditionally thrown by hand, but may also be propelled by a rifle or launcher.

Gun

Considered one of the most frequent and controversial implements of destruction in video games and real life, guns are devices that fire projectiles with explosive force.

Helmet

Whether it's worn for protection or style, helmets appear in various game genres.

Incineration Cannon

M6D Pistol

More precisely known as the M6D Personal Defense Weapon, this gun is the iconic scoped pistol from Halo: Combat Evolved.

MA5C Assault Rifle

The MA5C is a fully automatic, air-cooled, gas-operated, short-to-mid range weapon. The weapon's power is described as falling somewhere between the MA5B Assault Rife, and the BR55 Battle Rifle.

Magazine

A spring loaded box which holds ammunition for a firearm. Often referred to as a "clip" although this is not technically correct.

Mech

Mechs (or Mecha) are humanoid-like pilot driven vehicles often depicted in media as a combat machine. Early examples of Mech/Mecha in video games are often derived from early manga and anime as well as table-top games.

MJOLNIR Armor

The powered armor worn by the Master Chief and the other members of the SPARTAN-II program in the Halo Universe.

Mongoose

A lightweight all-terrain vehicle from the Halo series. It is typically used purely for transport with no offensive capability.

Phantom

A Covenant dropship, it holds one pilot, two gunners, and Twenty-four in the cargo hold. Its weaponry besides the passengers would be the large plasma cannon on the front.

Plasma Grenade

The Covenant Type-1 Antipersonnel Grenade, also known as the Plasma Grenade, Sticky Grenade, Holy flare, Holy light, or the Demon flare by the Covenant is similar to the UNSC Fragmentation Grenade in that it is a hand-thrown Anti-Infantry and Anti-Vehicle weapon.

Power Armor

Power armor (also referred to as a powered exoskeleton) is a form of full-body armor, that uses electronics and micromachinery to enhance the wearer's performance.

Rocket Launcher

A weapon that launches rockets.

Scorpion

Humanity's tank, it can carry four/five passengers in campaign. in Multiplayer in can hold Four/One. In Halo 3 the turret was replaced by a passenger.

Sentinel Beam

The sentinal beam is of forerunner design and is used extensively by the Forerunner constructs

Sniper Rifle

The weapon of choice for accuracy at long distances. The sniper rifle's slow rate of fire makes it ineffective for close range combat, but its high calibre round ensures that it inflicts maximum damage against the target.

Spaceship

A spaceship is a vehicle capable of traversing the vacuum of space.

Submachine Gun

A firearm capable of firing pistol ammunition automatically. Favored for shorter distances, or dealing death indoors.
