not to mention that the lag is deadly even in a 16 player game of Halo, it gets bigger and you won't even be able to hear the kids through the lag. But the idea of scarab battles would be amazing, that I'll admit
@TheMustacheHero: what is being got at is that the sheer epicness would be novel. Imagine a giant map with two or more operational scarabs and multiple other types of vehicles (banshees, hornets, warthogs, ghosts, choppers, tanks) all just trying to murder each other constantly. It'd be epic for a little while and then lose it's appeal as it falls apart. Both you and the TC are kinda right.
@borgmaster: Prototype Spartan weapons. Pillar of Autumn's "SUPER SPECIAL SPARTAN WEAPON LOCKER" got destroyed at Reach but I'm sure there's a backup somewhere.
Of course that really doesn't explain why we didn't see these rad weapons in H2 and 3. Although the laser is pretty sweet I guess...
the only way i could see that working would be a smaller team piloting the scarab. a driver, gunner for the big top gun, and a bunch of infantry running around on it. then the other team is larger and has to try to destroy the scarab with vehicles. scarabs in multiplayer sounds awesome but i dont see it working
