Halo Reach Live Action Trailer 'Birth of a Spartan'
That is pretty good. I'm interested why they do these promo's just to have the halo movie discussion start all over again?
It is a very affected trailer, and reach makes me much more interested in Halo. Never touched the series, not for hate, just wasn't my type of game, reach though seems pretty awesome

They have other songs. Actually, one of the dudes is Dan Americk of OXM and now he is over doing press for activision
Just saw this on a commercial in between watching Deadliest Warrior. I didn't even figure out it was a Reach ad until I saw the Spartan armor. I initially thought it was a 5 Gum ad.

Yeah, I agree. However, It seems they made this one for the Beta, and I have never seen a commercial advertising a beta before. I'm interested in how they will advertise the full game in a couple months." I'm digging the live action Halo trailers. The ODST one was better though IMO "
I was rather disappointed by what I saw so far. Way too subdued and I've hoped for something more than a sparse and cut-rate version of the adamantium bonding scene from Wolverine. This does nothing to build my hype which is okay I guess since the actual game footage and CG trailers are very pleasing. This, however, is very "meh".
I thought that was crap. He looked identical at the beginning as he did at the end. I dont mind them not following the books but I wanted a much more violent and aggressive transformation rather than some dude lying on the table and having some needles approach his head.
I did like the end where he walked up to the armour though
Erm, Spartans do not work that way Bungie. Now see, if the implant clip and the armor clip were a few years in between...
Just watched this on the dashboard. Doesn't it kind of cheapen the whole Spartan mystique? I thought the idea behind them was that they were career soldiers, the epitome of the human warrior. From what I see in this trailer, all they really are are skinny twenty-somethings that get injected with magical blue liquid that turns them into super badasses.
EDIT: And as someone said above, why wasn't he put under anesthetic? Aren't we in the future? And aren't Spartans valuable enough to warrant more than two mechanical arms to oversee the operation? Shouldn't there be some kind of human supervision to the process? Dude looked like he wasn't even sure of what to do for a minute there. I have determined that this trailer is shit.
