I bought the Limited Edition, after I bought and sold the regular copy.

I didn't buy, it's a Gamefly rental.

But after playing the game i wish i got the Legendary, i wouldn't mind seeing Noble Team sitting on my desk everyday. I just beat the game so i'm still kinda bummed out.

Legendary. I thought the developer commentary would be on a disc or something, but I was wrong and now I regret it.  
 
Flaming helmet is cool though. 

The Legendary edition sold out a week or so before release in my country so I bought the Xbox 360 bundle instead. A bit miffed that it only contains the regular edition since I really wanted the limited edition content. 

I got the standard

Standard, the stuff offered in the limited/legendary editions didn't seem to be worth the money.

Legendary Edition. I've been a huge Halo fan ever since I received an original Xbox and Halo: Combat Evolved for Christmas back in '01. Played all the games, read a bunch of the books. I couldn't deny myself Bungie's final Halo in anything but the Legendary Edition.

Regular. I don't have the money to go around buying special editions. Heck, I don't have the money to buy most games Day 1.

Standard with the recon code.

I bought the regular edition because I like playing games and would rather have two games than a statue.

If I went for the other two I would not be able to afford food the coming month.

I won my copy in a contest. It hasn't arrived yet (probably tomorrow), but I believe it's the standard edition. It's just as well, my Halo 3 game disc is on my shelf while the helmet and bonus disc are in storage.

Wanted Legendary but didnt have enough so had to settle for the limited. Currently reading through the journal included.

I wanted to get the limited edition but apparently you had to pre-order it? Which is god damn bizzare if you ask me. When Halo 3 came out I walked right the fuck into target and go the limited edition, but this time around the gamestop dude totally cockblocked me into getting a regular edition. No worries though, I'll just find the limited edition some other way later on. 

when the legendary edition drops to like 70 bucks ill get that. Whenever that happens...

The Legendary Edition was tempting though, they pile of it at Best Buy was taunting me.................

Anyone else read the journal? It's basically a retelling of the first contact, the SPARTAN project, the fall of Reach and Cortana. A good read actually (even If I hated Dr Hasley in the game)

The standard. Limited editions generally just aren't worth the extra cash. I found that out with Halo 2.

Limited edition. I still haven't started digging into all my extra goodies but I'm very interested to see the stuff like Halsey's journal.

Legendary.  For $47 straight up, how could I say no?  Answer: I couldn't.

Limited. I don't make enough money to justify $150 on a McFarlane statue, no matter how nice they are.

Just picked up the regular. I'm not the biggest halo fan but I thought this one looked fun and boy was I right. Loving it so far. Maybe its because I skipped ODST and its been so long since I played a Halo game but I feel like its probably my favorite campaign since the first Halo. 

Same as my Halo 3 - Limited Edition. Read the hell out of Halsey's Journal. No regrets.

I was planning on getting the Legendary Edition if there were any copies left by christmas but I found the regular edition at $28(not used) which is a sweet deal for a game released just a few days earlier.

Limited. Would have bought it anyway,but got it really cheap so i couldn't even think about getting the regular and Legendary would have been extra 110€ for what i paid and a flaming helmet and a statue aren't worth that much. I consider myself a fan of the series but i allways try to keep my feet on the ground with this sort of stuff.

Decided on the collectors edition which is unusually sensible for me. I am making up for this by getting the quite frankly silly Prestige edition of Black Ops though.

Limited. Stood in line at Future Shop for the midnight release.  First 20 people got a free crappy camo headset and the Legends DVD.  The headset wires snapped the first time I tried using it.  Booearns, but it was free!

None....I barely have time to play games right now, and I have a huge backlog of stuff that I need to get to before November hits.
