    More Big Team maps would be very welcome though. Oh man, 10 days until the reveal son. Can. Not. Wait.

    No, please. Halo's already hell in multiplayer when two players are shooting you with Assault Rifles. In that game, it happens because of chance/teamwork. But in this...it would be happening all the time. Only it'd be more like five players shooting you.

    Nope. A few changes to matchmaking would be fine but something that different would be a disappointment to me.

    Yeah and let's put like 20 Ghosts and 30 Tanks on the map too. This is a bad idea and I hope Bungie doesn't do something that crazy. The most players it should have is 16. That is a nice sweet spot that works for Halo games on big maps.

    Heck, dude, there's enough lag when it's 8 vs 8. I think 16 players is enough. If they want to bump it to 24, that's cool with me. I think 32 or higher is pushing it.

    It would be great to see that in a Halo game because it fits so well with the fiction. Would be amazing if it was like 10 people were Spartans and the rest were normal infantry dudes or something.

    I am guessing you don't know what correct spelling is. I am just saying that if one game can do 256 players in a match with little-to-no lag than another sure can do 200 players in match with similar results.

    Don't be a jackass. You're grammar isn't the greatest either. 
     
    MAG will be using dedicated servers to support that many players. I don't even know if any games on Xbox Live use dedicated servers or are even allowed to. Everything would have to drastically change.

    MAG is trying to simulate large scale real world military operations. Halo is about a bunch of super soldiers running around gunning down one another. More than a few dozen on a map is going to get out of hand quickly.

    They'd have to change the game design. Maybe Reach will be a game where large scale battles are more appropriate and balanced. Maybe something like Resistance 2 had at the maximum, but it wouldn't go that far.

    Halo has never been about huge scale game play... Even 24 vs 24 halo would suck, this game is not balanced nor should it be for more that 16 players. If you want large scale that works play battlefield. I don't understand how you can not see how 100 vs 100 is simply ridiculous and a bad idea...

    MAG and Halo are completely different games, in completely different settings. It would not be fun if there were more than 24 players in a halo game, gameplay wise. Storyline wise, If there were 128 Spartans vs 128 Elites, it would make no fucking sense.  
     
    Get a PS3 and play MAG if you want 128 v 128. It pulls it off the right way.

    If they would add it they'd have to change most of the core gameplay. Maybe a kind of FPS Halo Wars thing.

    It's called teamwork. Use it. Although i can understand how it is a foreign concept if you spend many hours playing call of duty.

    Anyway, it will never happen. Something a bit bigger than now, say - 20 players, maybe even 32 players however... what really needs to change isn't player counts, it's the actual scale of the combat. E.g there is pretty much only 1 map where full on vehicle combat happens - Sandtrap heavy. And even then, if you get both tanks it's a lopsided game. The whole vehicle/antivehicle spawn system needs reworking. Maps need to be designed to give players a chance to get into vehicles, yet at the same time encourage people to get into them.  
     
    I'm thinking instant respawn times on all vehicles (excluding heavy vehicles like gauss hogs or tanks...), large maps but with protected spawns, BUT close range only anti vehicle weapons. As in, no instant death from across the whole map lasers. That way, the other team will have a hard time spawn camping you, but you won't be able to make any gain unless you get in the hog.

    First of all you took my comment out of context and you are clearly trying to start something. 
     
    Any game with that many players is going to have people like the 'twelve year olds' I was referring to.  It has nothing to do with Halo really, as I apparently have no 'credibility' in.  How someone can have credibility in a video game is somewhat of a mystery to me, but whatever.  If there were a Battlefield or Call of Duty game with that many players I would have said the same exact thing.
