When it Started Halo was a relatively unknown game, but it quickly gained a huge fan base as well great lore ( i just happen to love the stuff),
its sad to see the franchise end with Halo: Reach .
as bad as it sounds i will miss accidentally on purpose killing my fellow marines...
what will you miss ?? any comments?
Halo
The franchise that defined the Xbox, Halo contains some of the most popular games ever released. The Halo FPS titles are revered for their excellent gamepad control and high-quality online multiplayer. The franchise now contains novels, soda tie-ins, an RTS spin-off, toys, and more.
QQing for Halo
If Halo is over as a franchise, I will remove 3 sections of my spinal column, bend over backwards and eat my own ass.
but i don't think they will make another game, but i suppose if they wanted to they still have plenty of the story they haven't covered.
" @Skytylz: QQ = Crying Face "No it's not.
Alt+Q, Q was the button combo to Exit Match -> Exit Game in Warcraft 3.
He must have a fuzzy memory of the history of Halo. Fact remains this game was hyped up from the very beginning." Has any Halo game ever been "relatively unknown"? That's news to me. "
"On its release Halo broke sales records; by April 8, 2002, one million units had been sold: this pace was faster than that of any previous sixth-generation console game "
So not much changed there OH SNAP!!!!!!
" @Three0neFive: Well i suppose they will "milk that cash cow " with things like the movie and action figures etc. but i don't think they will make another game, but i suppose if they wanted to they still have plenty of the story they haven't covered. "You do realize they already made an entire development house to crank out Halo games for the next decade? They already have at least one well into production. There will be at least 5 Halo games in the next few years.
From urbandictionary:" @Skytylz: @JJWeatherman: it means Crying so if someone says QQ more= cry more pussy :) "
" Originally started in Warcraft, where Alt+QQ is a hotkey to quiting the game. When someone bitches or whines everyone would say 'QQ', telling them to quit the game because they suck so much. It often confuses people into thinking that it means, "Cry more noob", but this is totally incorrect. The fact that 'QQ' looks like a pair of teary eyes is just a mere coincidence. "

" Somebody will make another game. Might be microsoft, might be Bungie. The game will happen. "Other posts have beat me to it, but ya, 343 is going to be continuing the Halo franchise. Microsoft wouldn't let their biggest exclusive title die. I just hope 343 knows what they're doing; Halo: Reach left me sour on the Halo franchise.
OMG. I had QQ wrong all this time too!
I don't have a 360 so not too sure I would miss Halo too much, but I have nephews that are well into the franchise. They'd be relieved to see it continue.
" Has any Halo game ever been "relatively unknown"? That's news to me. "Halo 1 when it was brand new. The popularity of the series quickly went from "Oh I love this game that noone else knows about" to "holy shit there are 50K people lined up around the street for Halo 2".

regardless it more or less means cry more nowadays even though it originated as a horribly stupid placed hotkey
:)
" @Azteck said:Really? Because I bought the xbox when Halo was new and all my friends who had played some game in their life already knew what that game was. I've never had to explain what Halo is."
