I call them pretty patties.

Okay. Assuming this isn't a joke that went over my head - what is in it? I am guessing it isn't a burger sandwiched between two charcoal bricks as the picture seems to be suggesting.

Black buns? seriously?

#7 Posted by GlenTennis (3143 posts) -

I can taste the midichlorians!

#8 Posted by Junkerman (253 posts) -

I sense a disturbance in the force.

#9 Posted by CL60 (16906 posts) -

That's going to look disgusting when it's just a regular burger not all prettied up for a picture.

It's going to look disgusting when a Star Wars-holic buy one of these just to keep in their collection.

That's a Dark Vador burger, not Darth Vader.

@GlenTennis: That is how they make the special sauce.

#14 Posted by ffdthree (200 posts) -

Dark Vador is a distant relative.

#17 Posted by stoic665 (58 posts) -

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

#18 Posted by Hamz (6845 posts) -

This may sound dumb but I'm curious to know how they make the buns black like that?

#19 Posted by Clockwk (55 posts) -

So I hear Belgium is pretty sweet huh?

#20 Posted by PenguinDust (12414 posts) -

Well it looks better than the Jedi burger. What are those beneath the top bun, marshmallows?

#21 Posted by Rattle618 (1463 posts) -

That looks disgusting.

They look like cheese curds to me. You know? Like in poutine?

I assume they just added more heat?

#32 Posted by lockwoodx (2479 posts) -

@yoshimitz707: Yep they are. Cheese curds on a burger doesn't sound half bad if they melt and don't fall everywhere. Poutine is really good.

Exactly what I thought. Just dump a burger into a toilet and you get this I guess.

My favorite character, Dark Vador!

I'd imagine it would just be food coloring. I doubt that they would want to use something in the bun that would mess with the normal taste of them.

Making fake-ish food even faker for the sake of sweet, sweet marketability. Yum-ish.

#38 Posted by Mattalorian (594 posts) -

Those look awful and I would love to try them.

#39 Posted by BUCK3TM4N (549 posts) -

this is the greatest item of food over produced

#40 Posted by PenguinDust (12414 posts) -

@yoshimitz707: Yeah, cheese curds does make sense. I've never had poutine before but I have had deep-fried cheese curds and they're pretty tasty.

Oh, and for those prequel fans there's a more mundane "Dark Burger" on the menu, as well apparently.

Gah! Next thing you know there'll be a Mace Windu burger, or a Greivous burger.

Too far, I say. Much too far.

#47 Posted by ShaggE (5988 posts) -

Know what? I'm cool with Star Wars again. It just bought another year of me not being utterly sick of it.

#48 Posted by Vexxan (4598 posts) -

Wow, the Jedi burger looks really half-assed. Ain't a burger without salad!
