Hamburger

Object » linked to 261 games

A hamburger is a hunk of ground beef served between two pieces of bun-configured bread. Hamburgers are often served with a variety of toppings and condiments. It is named for the region in which it was invented, not for the kind of meat (as is often mistakenly suggested).

Drink that best complements a good burger.

Unsweetened Iced Tea

I think the classic is Coke, but I'm not into that very much. I love chocolate milk, but I don't think it goes as good with a burger as much as a good soft drink.

I dig chocolate milk with anything that isn't citrusy, in my world it goes good with almost everything. You wouldn't last a day in my world.

Grape Soda

Orange soda shits on grape soda seven days a week and on Christmas.

7-up was the first thing that came into my mind when I saw the topic title.

I agree with systech, cold classic cola served in a glass bottle is the best way to enjoy a tasty burger.

Coke in a frosted glass goes well with almost any kind of burger - juice goes better with the lighter meats like chicken and salmon, but Coke would work in a pinch too.

A nice light ale or a clear, ice cold wheat brew would be better, though.

#10 Posted by Vaxadrin (2297 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

What about a nice glass of a ketchup & mayo mix?  You could dip the burger in it and drink it when you're done to wash it down.

Pepsi/Coke works just fine for me.

#12 Posted by Manks (836 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

Cheerwine? That sounds like a hobbit's name.

Something like Bumblespot Cheerwine.

#22 Posted by BiggerBomb (6944 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

I'm not a fan of beer with hamburgers, but a nice cold brew on a hot summer day watching a baseball game with a ballpark frank is priceless. Except if the beer is Old Style, then it sucks.

#23 Posted by BiffMcBlumpkin (3705 posts) - 4 years, 10 months ago

I love hotdogs as much as the next guy, but Ballpark Franks are too big, just too fucking big.

I don't want the feet and head of my hotdog hanging out the ends of my bun like some gigantic weirdo sleeping on a regular sized mattress. If I wanted that much extra hotdog I'd make two hotdogs.

She said the second part, because she is batshit crazy.

We both know she never said the first part.

I would say, a semi-thick strawberry milkshake. unfortunately every time I go for the hamburger-milkshake combo I can usually only get through half the burger and shake before it starts feeling like I've eaten a couple of cement bricks.

It is a Cherry soda they have in the south. Giantbomb drank some on their podcast for the drink segment. I think that was when they got to play some Nintendo games and was talking about Homestar Runner. It was before Brad and Vinny came aboard.

Fool, ROOT BEER is the superior drink. If not that then get a Vanilla or Reese's flavored Milkshake.

A nice cold beer is the only thing that should ever be drunk with a burger.
