steak sauce

I don't like any sauces. They dilute the flavor of the meat. Just like with steak, if the meat is good enough, it doesn't need any sauce.

Toppings:

• bacon
• jalapenos
• sauteed mushrooms/onions

Cheeses:

• blue cheese
• hard cheddar
• smoked gouda
• swiss

Can't beat a juicy burger slathered with BBQ sauce. I hate it when the sauce soaks into the upper bun though, so a sliced cheese 'shield' is always a must. Not a huge fan of adding crazy things to my burgers, I like keeping them nice and simple. It's how God intended.

I can only say what I get when I go out to a local burger place, and that's bacon, cheese, grilled onions, pickles and barbeque sauce. The barbeque sauce is what pulls it all together. :)

I also like steak sauce.
