I think they're alright. Pretty good but I've had better.
Hamburger
A hamburger is a hunk of ground beef served between two pieces of bun-configured bread. Hamburgers are often served with a variety of toppings and condiments. It is named for the region in which it was invented, not for the kind of meat (as is often mistakenly suggested).
Five Guys Burgers and Fries
We got a Five Guys here in Waco a few months back. That place is overpriced, the burgers are bland and unflavorful, and the fries are pretty decent. Overall, totally not worth it to me.
Maybe that's just because we have Whataburger, and those fuckers are goddamn outstanding every time I go there.
Five Guys is really the only place I get burgers anymore, because we don't have In-n-Out here on the east cost. I love their food and the price isn't bad.
Also, as an off topic side-note, one of my friends claims that his uncle is one of "the five guys". I don't know if I believe him but he brought it up before they started building restaurants around where I live.

Dude, YES.
theres one just down the street from me in my new living arrangements, so i'm going to have go start going more. from my scant memory of having it 4 years ago, it was delicious
The new Five Guys in Scarborough that I've previously mentioned is half built, I've stared at the sign while drooling in the last week...can't wait!
The new Five Guys in Scarborough that I've previously mentioned is half built, I've stared at the sign while drooling in the last week...can't wait!I've been there 3 times now, and it's...good, but not mind blowing. I may have hyped myself up too much about the experience, the burger is tasty but not among my favourites; I like a thicker patty, and there are a ton of fries that leave me feeling bloated by the end.
That said, I'll definitely visit from time to time. Mmm, free peanuts!
For some reason, I'd been ordering it sans tomato until a couple of days ago...and it tastes dramatically different with it. Very enjoyable!
The atmosphere of the restaurants are complete trash and the burgers are a bit expensive, but they are tasty.
I feel like they are highly over-rated. I personally think that there are 3-4 local places around here in Wisconsin that are better than that place. Its nothing special.
The burgers are good, but the fries are fucking outstanding. Hand cut and cooked in peanut oil, they actually taste like potatoes.

I heard there's one up in Worcester but I never made it up there to try them. Wish I could, there's really not much like them around the northeast outside of Boston.
Where do you live? There's one in Saugus and another in Swampscott.

I didn't notice it so much at first, but the atmosphere is pretty depressing.
Eh, I tried them when opened up in Orange County months ago they were alright.
Doesn't beat In-N-Out though.
Their burgers suck. They're just globs of meat and have no flavor. That's why they give you all those free toppings.
In-N-Out still better.
5 Guys is okay. I prefer Shake Shack for my overpriced semi-fast food burgers. In and Out is awesome considering its way cheaper than 5 Guys and Shake Shack .
The best burger where I live is at Stew Leonard's Hoedown Grill (it's like a dairy store you can eat at) . It's only like 6 bucks for a full meal, and you get more/fresher meat then you'd get at Shake Shack , 5 Guys or In and Out burger.
