Hot dogs scare me.  Not sure whats in them, if you know what I mean. Taste great though.

nope. hotdogs are among the bottom of my choices of food, while hamburgers are closer to the top. hotdogs have always had a strange texture to me, so oily and soft...

The rare occasions I'm in the mood for a hot dog, I would still choose hamburger over it.

I like hotdogs more than hamburgers to be honest, because they are smaller and easier to eat.  With a hamburger I have to take bites all the way through it, but with a hotdog it's just one chomp after another until it's all gone.  Also, hotdogs are faster to make.
