    Hamburger

Object » linked to 362 games

A hamburger is a hunk of ground beef served between two pieces of bun-configured bread. Hamburgers are often served with a variety of toppings and condiments. It is named for the region in which it was invented, not for the kind of meat (as is often mistakenly suggested).

Fast food is great. It's convenient, tastes good, and it's fast. When it comes down to it though, nothing can beat burgers on the grill, made fresh and in your own backyard. Who agrees?

I agree, and I would also like to say I am a fan of the charcoal and propane mix for making great burgers.

Home-made or fancy restaurant burgers always beat fast food burgers.

Guess I'm in the minority but I'd take a fast food burger over a burger off the grill any day. It just tastes better.

The looks are deceiving, the burger above is shot at an angle which shrimps it. The actual meat itself contains a fine mixture of Worcestershire as well as a mixture of different meats (As well as some bacon, isn't that great?!). The buns themselves are freshly made, but as one ball of bread cut in two. The top bun is actually hiding the extra garnishes. The grease itself is a part of another cooked meal, specifically foie gras. The image itself is a basic representation of a burger I had made recently, and this is the best representation I could come up with. I wished to have taken the picture, but it was so damn good, I had to eat it right away.

Alright, alright. You've convinced me. However, generally I prefer to have more stuff on my burger. Though I will note that I am pleased you have informed me there is bacon in there. Sorry for insulting your burger, dude.

Tender buns awaiting the insertion of rich, moist meat.

Damn it,  I wish I had some hamburger in the house, as the barbeque is lonely. My stomach is lonely. Even looking at this picture from last fall is making me sad.

That image made my mouth water... just like Homer. Anyone else prefer their burgers without cheese?

I think cheese makes a valuable contribution provided it is real cheese and not that plastic-y sliced cheese that fast food places push.

Also, as an Australian, I feel it would be amiss to not include beetroot on a homemade hamburger.  Don't knock it until you've tried it, foreigners :)

I agree I prefer a home cooked burger versus a fast food burger.
