Hamburger
A hamburger is a hunk of ground beef served between two pieces of bun-configured bread. Hamburgers are often served with a variety of toppings and condiments. It is named for the region in which it was invented, not for the kind of meat (as is often mistakenly suggested).

Now that that's out of the way:
I know, not quite a burger. But when you have fried chicken in place of bread, everyone wins.
" @ROFLCOPTER said:Hahahahahahahahaha-"lol. Mine's still better. "
Ah, there we go. "
Oh, you were serious?
Actually, I think yours is better.
In Sweden there's a burger chain called MAX
It kicks the crap out of McDonalds and Burger King. All their food is from swedish farms and cooked fresh to order, no re-heating or frozen meat. You get free coffee at the end of your meal and some places even have a Gamecube set up in the corner. They even plant tree's in Africa. I moved here a few months ago from England and the Swede's love burgers.
I've tried nearly everything on the menu and their finest creation has to be the Frisco burger with its oriental sauce.

CHICK-FIL-A. It's not a burger, but it's so fucking delicious that I just HAVE to put it here. Chick-fil-a aside, probably the Smiddy Bistro Burger. You'll never have heard of it, because it's a local resteraunt in Lochgilphead, Scotland, but it is amazing. I have one every time we go there.
" In Sweden there's a burger chain called MAXI think MAX is over-rated. It seems there's a 50% chance the burger is cold.. Though I've almost only tried MAX-målet. Maybe I'll try that Frisco burger next time I get there :)

How come you moved here?
"And there it is. That burger is totally insane. You should have posted the instruction images too!

And about Max Burger. I like their Frisco burger BUT i'm no huge fan of Max overallt, I don't like their french fries either. In my town (Malmö) we have a burger joint (1000 & 2) that makes awesome burgers but that may be cheating because it's quite obvious that resturant made burger will be better than those in fast food resturant. I also love my own chili/bacon/cheeze burger creation that I do at home. I had better photos but I gues these will have to do right now...

Hmm, well I've never had that problem, is it always cooked properly? I'm in Lanskrona (Skåne), maybe its just a case of bad staff.
My girlfriend is swedish, she's lived in england for 10 yeares, we lived there together for the past 2 years. After visting her family in Helsingborg a few times together, we decided it was a better and much cheaper place to live. Now I'm just trying to start a swedish course before full time work. Even with just the one of us working, we're living a better life in sweden than england.
"@Tomarlyn: You know, you should totally come to Denmark instead. Not to brag or anything, but we're fairly better than Sweden ... Just sayin'. But we don't have any special burger places.. Only McD, and BurgerKing, which is pretty bad. "
My gf just said ''yeah they would say that in denmark'' lol ;P
I hear its best to live in sweden and work in denmark.
England only has those two burger places as well. We used to have something called Wimpy, but I think it stopped after mad cow disease or something.
"Thats clearly a sandwhich.
This is how they serve a hamburger at my favorite eatery in my hometown.
Instead of the standard bun, they use lightly toasted sandwich bread.
It comes with a salad, fries(homemade) and a soda of your choice.
This is how i like a burger the best.

There is a small, locally-owned hole in the wall near my house. It's billed as a sub shop, but it's basically line cooks doing whatever you ask. They have a standard burger sub, but that's not why I'm here. I'm here because of the Kelly Burger. Named after a former employee who would eat it constantly, it is a full pound (weight AFTER cooking) of ground beef, covered in (American, Swiss or Cheddar) cheese on a 12-inch sub-style bread. I get it with extra American cheese, Ketchup and a little bit of pickles (otherwise they get a little pickle-happy). They add salt and pepper, and that's it. I would eat it every day if doing so wouldn't kill me.
Sorry to resurrect the thread, but the Kelly burger deserves it.
Oh, and the name of the place is Substantial. I don't know if it's a national chain, but this one's definitely privately owned.
"Dude, that is amazing.

I've been to the supposed "best" local place for burgers, and they are overrated. The burger that will always hold a spot in my heart is the Spicy Baconator from Wendys
If you have ever lived near Toronto, you should know about Lick's. They're a chain in the GTA that has won "Best Burger in the City" a ton of times. If you've had one, you know what I'm talking about.
1/3lb patties and their cheeseburgers are made with a handful of real shredded cheese. SO good.
Tower Burger. Not the best, but damn is it good.Mayo, fresh lettuce,a layer of potatoes wrapped in awesome, cheese, and the chicken.
there is this little hole in the wall retro place in Denton Tx called Frosty's
the burgers are sooooooooo good, but what really makes that place awesome, is the homemade from scratch root beer
This past weekend I went to the Hard Rock Cafe in Orlando. They have a burger called "The Big Cheese." Your choice of three cheeses out of five (Cheddar, American, Monterey Jack, Provolone, Swiss). Cheddar + Jack + Provolone = GODLY! The burger was so juicy and the cheeses were melted together so thick. It was thirty minutes of heaven.
