    Hamburger

Object » linked to 362 games

A hamburger is a hunk of ground beef served between two pieces of bun-configured bread. Hamburgers are often served with a variety of toppings and condiments. It is named for the region in which it was invented, not for the kind of meat (as is often mistakenly suggested).

Note-Even if you may not agree, assume burgers are sandwiches
I recently heard on the 1up yours podcast about this topic, and was wondering, what's your opinion on it? I think you NEED bread it a sandwich to make it a sandwich, but bad bread is better than having bad meat in it, so the meat is the most important.

Both bread and meat are core elements to a sandwich, but I think meat is more important.  A sandwich with good meat and bad bread makes me say "Hmm, that was ok but the bread was kind of meh."  The other way around, it's just a bad sandwich.

Both are important.  It's all about texture, and flavoring.  You need bread with great texture, something that goes well with the meat.  The meat also has to have good texture, and great flavor.  If you can find a balance between both, you have yourself a great sandwich.

Having too much meat on too little bread is bad, same with having too much bread with too little meat is bad.  You have to find the middle ground, while not sacrificing flavor, or texture.

It is both of them.  A well seasoned patty on a fresh bakery bun is the best.
