Hamburger

Object » linked to 265 games

A hamburger is a hunk of ground beef served between two pieces of bun-configured bread. Hamburgers are often served with a variety of toppings and condiments. It is named for the region in which it was invented, not for the kind of meat (as is often mistakenly suggested).

The Baconator made me cry.

It made me cry for two reasons. The first is because is was really really good. The second is because it was dripping with grease.

What's everyones opinion on this solidified heart-attack?

Haven't tried it yet.....too expensive.

I love them. They do have a lot of grease, but I still eat them anyway.

I saw a picture of a burger with 6 patties and bacon and cheese between each layer.  It was called the baconator.  now THAT is a sandwich

I ate one.... never again... never again. I would attribute the Baconator's effects on your body the same as dysentery.

#7 Posted by NihonTiger (62 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

I feel if I eat it, it will kill me.

One of my favorite burger's. Also FIve Guy's Burgers and Fries has an amazing burger too.

#10 Posted by Kevin (369 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

I refuse to eat the baconator, I've heard horror stories about it. I'll just stick with the regular hamburger thank you.

#11 Posted by Dauragon (547 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

I used to eat those a lot.

My colon hates me.

#12 Posted by Dolphin_Butter (1871 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

I eat one almost after every shift at work.

Yeah a baconator is more effective than exlax with the added benefit of taking years off of your life.

Its Turkey and Chicken burgers for me. Whenever I eat a beef burger its no cheese. I consider it a delicacy cause its a rare occasion when I'll have one. But oh so good.

Bison and Ostridge are also good healthier and tasty alternatives to beef.

#16 Posted by pbhawks45 (736 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

Yeah, I love me some bacon, but six strips is too damn much.

#17 Posted by MadMatr07 (200 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

I just remember that baconator experience so well.... When I got it and picked up grease was pouring from it so much that it made a pool on the paper it came wrapped in almost as if it was dunked in the deep fryer before being served.

LIES.

My most ever eaten bacon was......

I went to a diner at 2AM... got a side order of bacon... it was so good, I got the double bacon BLT.  This was in the south.  I'm sure it totaled about a pound to a pound and a third of bacon.... lol
#20 Posted by MadMatr07 (200 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

I love bacon too even had a number of bacon sandwiches in my day but I think its the whole package that makes it repulsing.

#21 Posted by pbhawks45 (736 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

Sir!!

Yeah, living in the south probably takes 10 years off my life, just because of the food.

#22 Posted by MadMatr07 (200 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

Below the mason-dixon line... there is no such thing as grilled only fried and I love it!

Of course I use bread.  Wheat Bread is preferred but thats not always an option in most restaurants.
Theirs a fast food chain called Better Burger here in NYC. They air bake their fries and serve the healthiest burger you could possibly eat.
#25 Posted by Jandurin (186 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

Why would I want a healthy burger?!?!?  :o

Wheat bread bun.  Interesting.

You should just make your own burgers.. most restaurants charge way too much.  Fast food charges pretty close to what you would pay to make your own, but restaurants >_>

Especially if you consider that you'll have to tip and buy a drink from them.

#26 Posted by Foil1212 (404 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

To me it would be REALLY awkward in the store to go get one.  "Hey, uh.  Can I whisper my order? Can I get a belly bloater baconator bonanza?  And can you give it to me out the back door?" *shifty eyes*

The best burger is the one you make yourself. If you buy the right kind of meat, and cook it the way you want thats the best way to go. As long as you know how its being made its always healthier than what you get in any restaurant or fast food chain. But I do prefer restaurant burgers to Mcdonalds or Burger king.  Bigger pieces of meat.
#28 Posted by Jandurin (186 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

Definitely.  Maybe I won't go to Five Guy's tonight.  I could make my own instead.

hmmmmm

I even have bacon and lettuce and tomatoes.  Have to buy buns, though.

#29 Posted by bread_or_decide (136 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

...Turkey bacon? lol. I'm kind of a health nut lol.

Totally worth it <3.

#31 Edited by Jandurin (186 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

The woman buys turkey bacon >_>

See, the way I eat is... really unhealthy once or twice or thrice a month, and then generally very healthy the rest.

But, if I'm going unhealthy... I go all the way :)

Yeah, so my bacon is not the turkey kind.

#32 Posted by bread_or_decide (136 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

lol "The Woman". Yeah I agree. When I eat the good stuff. I eat it like it should be eaten.

I often hit Wendy's on my lunch break, and always try to change up my order a bit. I usually land on the Baconator every couple weeks or so, and really enjoy it. I don't enjoy the after effects, though.... it's kind of like lubing your insides with 5W-30 and swallowing fifteen cans of beans.

The other good thing is that it fills you up. I like being full after lunch.

I saw some signage at the drive thru when it first came out - it said "The Baconator - Order it before it orders YOU."

I had one once.  The bacon tasted like ham, so it wasn't that great.

#35 Posted by tanline (160 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

its alright, i wish they didnt put mayo on the burger and i wish for a little more bacon. but other than that it was good

#36 Posted by Bear (243 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

Tempted to get one now, big fan of bacon burgers but the health risks are telling me no. But what's a few years off your life if you can die knowing you consumed the greatest bacon burger known to man.

I really doubt anything from Wendy's could ever be described as the greatest anything known to man.

I need toppings on my burger. Meat and cheese doesn't cut it for me, gotta have the works.

#39 Posted by BigJosh (17 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

The Baconator is hands down my favorite fast food burger. I also loved the spicy Baconator (pepper jack cheese and jalepenos) : )

#40 Posted by jaxjaggywires (63 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

Holy crap...I've had one, and no more.  Man, this sucker was too much.  Don't get me wrong, I loves me some bacon and cheese and hamburger...but too much.  Oh yes, too much...

#43 Posted by vaca (40 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

How does this compare to the Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger at Jack-in-the-Box?  It looks like the same thing that Jack has had for a decade or more.  Is this bigger?  Probably doesn't taste as good though.  I could just go to Fuddruckers for a 1 pound burger with quadruple bacon and destroy this.

I guess seeing funny signage for Baconators is a recurring theme for me...

When the Spicy first came out, my girlfriend and I were at the drive-thru. I saw the sign and wanted it. She read it aloud, "Flavor Explosion." I smiled at her.

"More like Ass explosion." When she made a disgusted face, I turned to the speaker and asked for a Spicy Barfanator combo meal, large, with a Sprite. Damn was I glad we were only a few blocks from her dorm.
#45 Posted by vaca (40 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

I looked it up.... Jack in the Box Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger is bigger and has more calories too.  Why does the Baconator get press?

#46 Posted by TheClap (539 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

I ate a baconator and the ketchup + mayo was the only trouble I had with it.   Bacon makes every thing better. Period.

#47 Posted by AnEternalEnigma (277 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

I had a Baconator about a year ago with no sauce. Meat and cheese is the only way to go. I was disappointed with how small it was. I haven't had one since.

#48 Posted by aliensexist4 (14 posts) - 4 years, 9 months ago

I went to a drive-thru once at 1:59 and they said they were closed, but I told them they close at 2 and I still had time, and I wanted to try the damn Baconator.  So they took the leftover lump of meat they had and 5 minutes later came back to the window and said "I went through a lot of trouble to get that for you. That'll be five bucks."  and I said "five bucks! what the hell???!!!???" and i drove off without it....bastards.
