Hand to Hand Combat

Hand to hand combat, also part of Close Quarters Combat (CQC), involves the use of fists to defeat an enemy. There are a variety of techniques than can be used to dispatch an opponent such as: punches, kicks, head butts, body throws, grappling and karate chops.

There are numerous forms of martial arts that can be considered hand to hand combat.

Hand to Hand Combat is the primary method of combat in most traditional fighting games such as Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. It is also commonly used in standard beat'em up brawlers like Streets of Rage and River City Ransom.
