Buying my GF a Harvest moon game for ds which one is the best? She like final fantasy and has beaten almost every one including kingdom hearts.  the only harvest moon game i know of for ds are harvest moon ds and harvest moon ds cute. (she prefers games without much touchpad gameplay)

Those are the only Harvest Moon games besides Runefactory, which is Harvest Moon plus RPG stuff with it.

should i get her rune factory or rune factory 2? on gamespot rune factory 2 only got a 6.5 whereas rune factory got a 7.5.

ehh nm cant get runefactory you can only play as a male.

Rune factory is actually a pretty good game even though you can only play as a guy.

And a quick question... Does she have Final Fantasy 3 or 4  or Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings for the Ds? Those games are all pretty fun.

Hmm, Friends of Mineral Town{GBA} is the best portable one IMO. I didn't catch it if you told us she had a DSi or not. If so, then you should definitely pick up Rune Factory 2. RF is so much better than Harvest Moon, it manages to 1UP its predecessor in every way. Definitely get that one.

I've only played Rune Factory 2 for the DS, so at least I can say: don't buy her that one. It's just a not well made game, and the core fun of Harvest Moon games, which in my opinion is taking care of the farm, is too bland and repetitive to be enjoyed. Sorry, but that's all I can contribute with.

Havest moon DS sucks, so you should probably get "Friends of Mineral town" which is basially a remake of Back to Nature for the PSX, which is still the undisputed best harvest moon game ever made, which is for the GBA, which works in a DS. Yupp.

" @JJOR64: HM64 is really really sort of old compared to back to nature, and then the one for GC straight up had nothing to do in it. It's like you've eaten the crust of a boston pizza (which sucks) without bothering to eat the actual pizza. It's like getting most of a hand job with no happy ending. I really suggest you get a PSX or similar PSX game capable device and back to nature. And then truly, you will have gotten to the jelly of this series most terrible outer donut. "

Get Island of Happiness, I have not heard good things about Harvest Moon DS.

There is a new Harvest moon on the way in the near future. I believe it's called Sunshine Islands or something. As such, maybe you should wait for that one.
