    Overview

Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai is a Vocaloid-themed rhythm game for the Nintendo 3DS. Unlike the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva series of rhythm games, the character designs are primarily super deformed versions of the Vocaloid characters based on Good Smile Company's line of Nendoroid figures. The game also features different rhythm mechanics than those seen in the Project Diva series.

Project Mirai is the first Sega-produced Vocaloid game to feature the Vocaloid GUMI. However, while GUMI is represented in some songs, she does not have a 3D model like the other characters. Also, unlike Miku and the rest of the cast, who were created by Crypton Future Media, GUMI was created by Internet Co.

Project Mirai also supports AR cards that depict the Vocaloids performing songs from the game.
