This game is really cheap now, so I was wondering whether it's interesting enough to lay down $3 for or whether it's just generic and bad.
Haze
Game » consists of 5 releases. Released May 20, 2008
In this PS3-exclusive first-person shooter, players fight a group of rebels who don't like the Mantel megacorporation, only to discover that his obviously evil bosses aren't the good guys after all.
Worth $3?
Only $3? I won't blame you if you end up thinking 'What have I got to lose?' :P
You may end up being surprised in one way or another*. So its completely your call. >_>
*(More likely to mold itself into some semblance of vague positive energy if you have someone to do the split screen with. ;) )
Haze is the shit.
I guess if you have some time to kill, go for it. The Free Radical guys have done some great things before this, so I'm sure there's gotta be something redeeming in there. Jeff's review says "While there’s nothing about Haze that’s out-and-out broken or completely terrible, it doesn’t come close to meeting the expectations that today’s first-person shooter market creates." So don't expect outstanding.

I don't think it's worth your time so I couldn't even say it was worth 1 penny.
Fucking A this is actually a really great response to these types of threads

Anything is worth $3. Anything.
Is $1 worth $3?
ANYTHING!!!
@Rainbowkisses: I'm gonna tell you right now that Haze is a terrible game. It's just mediocre with no arc and it tries way too hard. But with three dollars, there is really nothing to lose. I would say go for it if you really want to know how crappy that game is. More of an academic purpose.
I'd pay $3 for any game. Hell, I'd pay $3 for a game I already own (and have).
If you're at all curious, and even if you only play it for an hour, $3/hour is pretty good value for non-RPGs. For the record, I've never played it, but if I had a PS3, I would buy it if I found it for that price.
I paid something like $3 for Dark Sector, and ended up really enjoying it. If you're curious, yeah, it's probably less harmful than the cheeseburger you could buy with it.
For $3 why not and if you end up not liking and not finishing the game then at least you can say you only spent $3.
Opinions seem to be split 50/50 on whether Haze is even worth someone's time. I was curious enough so I decided to lay down $3 to hit up that kind of rush. When I get around to playing through it I might post my thoughts on it.
I remember when Haze was going to be the next Halo, that worked out nicely, didn't it? But for $3, maybe buy it? Fuck, I don't know. Buy it just so you can burn it.

No one seems to have noticed I already made a decision.
