Had an interesting day with my, hardly any rare cards to speak of, Hearthstone. Was playing some zoo Warlock, facing a Rogue. Dude conceited before my turn 3 because I put down murlocs, like the regular kinds, the ones you start out with. But I don't got any of those annoying rare murlocs. Gave him a "Well Played" on the way out.

@freakin9: Nice! Murlocs can wreck you by turn 5 or 6 if you don't have enough removal. Fan of Knives can deal with Murlocs pretty easy, so he must have felt pretty confident he wasn't going to draw it or wasn't in his deck. At least he conceded early so you could both get on with your next games and you got credit for the win! :)

Wait, what? There's a loser bracket? I didn't know anything about this. Alright, let's do it. Too bad my decks are already set. I know a ton of changes to make to them that I can't. Oh well, it's all fun anyway.

Just finished my match up with Jswan. He beat my Mage with his Hunter in the first game, I beat his Hunter with my Warrior and then I beat his Warlock with my Warrior in the third. So I'll move on again. Surviving by the skin of my teeth in a few of these. Literally like late game plays leading to victory in a lot of cases.

Good games Jswan, you demolished my Mage after that strong open I had, and I was really worried in the second one after you started to fight back into it.

Great match man. That first one was crazy. You had me on the ropes both games until I could get my mid-late game going. Don't forget it's double elimination also!

@perniciousdistortion: You get the loser of paudle/hurricane ivan. Since everyone is playing their games whenever they're free (which is more than fine by me) it's a little tricky to set dates for the losers bracket - so I'm just going 4 days from when match-up if finalized.

Also - unless you and your opponent want to do something different, the entire losers bracket is best of 3 unless game AR on the bracket becomes necessary.

Zoo is pretty horrible though without those Murloc cards. Turns into pray they draw badly. Or pray that, they are a beginner.

@freakin9: Nah, I have the non murloc zoo deck and it does just fine. You just have to make smart trades and not overcommit. I'd actually rather face the murloc zoo vs non murloc zoo. The big difference is I can beat the Murloc deck just by taking out the right murlocs. If I've played the better zoo lock deck correctly, it can withstand a board clear.

I'm happy to report that @chim21 destroyed me 2-0 in a way that left me questioning my manhood. On to the loser's bracket for me!

@c0v3rt I just finished my match with @electric_zen. In the first match, I defeated his control mage deck with my control secrets deck mage. Then he brought out their warlock and went to town for the next two matches. I had fun playing with him and I wish him good luck in the tournament!

Thanks, @acura_max, your Secrets deck was infuriating. I start breaking into a cold sweat every time I hear the Secret sound effect now.

Yup, lost in 2 rounds to @sir_gunblade's Warlock deck. Kinda crazy first round where I had terrible draws initially, but crazy RNG luck in the later rounds. Wasn't enough to save me, though. Second round went he trounced my Druid deck. Well played, sir.

@ohpmckenzie, looks like we're up in the losers bracket. I'm available today or typically after 5:30pm weekdays.
