I just played this game for an hour and a half (the first hour and a half) before going to bed and while going through the motions of brushing my teeth and washing my face, I felt weirdly self-conscious, for lack of a better term. Anyone else get the odd moment of dissonance between thinking about doing something and doing it after playing this game?

Haha, no. I can imagine how odd one could feel though trying to do common tasks and forgetting how to do them without their PS3 controller.

I totally felt that simply walking down the street turning my head ala heavy rain, guess that what you get for playing it all day.

Yep. Had the same effect happen to me after a Fahrenheit marathon.

the exact same thing happened to me while playing,i took a little break and went to the fridge and while opening and shutting it i couldnt stop thinking of controller motions...but that sort of thing happens,after playing assassins creed 2 for 5hours straight,when i went outside ,the buildings and ledges started looking like obstacles that have been put there,to climb.

I've been getting this for years regardless of a specific game. It's strange but it hasn't gotten in my way yet.

What I found funny was how meticulous I was with my character's morning routine, I made sure to do everything, and do it right. Whilst in real life my morning routine is me waking up late, franticly attempting to do all that shit, and giving up halfway through, running out the door gargling mouthwash.

pretty much the entire day after I first played Heavy Rain, I imagined commands popping up near me whenever I did something. It was pretty weird.

I am aware of all my actions all the time.

Yea I just finished it like 20 minutes ago, and this is after playing it for about 6 hours and you totally have that kind of weird feeling like...WHAT IF YOUR WHOLE LIFE IS JUST A GIANT QTE???

The more threads I see like this one, the more I want to play this game

Kind of. Mostly with walking, though I had it much worse when I played Indigo Prophesy. But especially when I open a cupboard to get something.
