I just beat the game. I had Ethan die on me (Drank the poison, drove to the wrong address) but in the end it shows him moving in to a new house with his son. What? How is he alive? I didn't get the trophy for ending the game with everyone alive so...what the hell?

Maybe you need the best ending possible to get the trophy. I beat the game (drinking the poison, but going to the RIGHT address) and I got the same cutscene you did and the trophy.

To get the trophy all characters have to make it to the warehouse. You said he went to the wrong address, therefore no trophy.

So wait. You had Ethan die... but the ending had a scene where he moved into the new place? 
 
That sounds like a huge glitch to me. This game is bugged to shit, it was for me at least.

The way Heavy Rain handles trophies is terrible anyway.

For the record it is also plenty possible to get to that point in the story and not have a filled out address.  I know I didn't have it all.  As for trophies... uh I have never had a trophy fail to credit when I did the scene the way it wanted, including happy birthday.

How did you drive to the wrong address? I thought the game hit you over the head with the right one. (You call the location and hear birds and ships, obviously that means it is near water. There is only one place out of the three that is near water.) You even drank the poison so the address should have been filled out correctly. "

Yeah. They do lots of cheap shit. I had the car with Shelby and Lauren fill with water completely and then Shelby just walks on out. 
 
I wouldn't know in your case though, when it said to kill myself I just walked the fuck out.
