    Helios controls the sun with his horse drawn chariot riding across the sky. He begins his journey everyday with the sun rising the east and it ends with the sun setting in the west. He is also known as Apollo.

    In Chains of Olympus, Helios is taken by Morpheus and the world is thrown into a state of darkness and must be saved by Kratos. His sister Eos pleads with Kratos to save her brother and Kratos complies. In God Of War II, the very first boss fight Kratos has is with the Colossus of Rhodes, a statue that was built in Helios likeness. Helios is one of the first bosses Kratos fights in God of War III.
