up here in alberta canada we have(or had, due to drilling) large pockets of natural gas under our city(Medicine Hat). there is also a song by Big Sugar about having hell for a basement.

I live in Utah, and there is actually a giant bubble at one point that wil disintegrate sinners. Dozens of people spontaneously combust here every year, it's just not widely reported. Next time you are in Utah, steer clear of Utah County. As I said, you may vaporize, and if you are just good enough to get in, you'll likely be assaulted by various companies named after prominent mormons trying to sell you something totally overpriced. Mormons love ripping each other off.
I'm in Salt Lake county, which still has a lot of mormon influence, but the mormons in this area (such as my self) are actually sane, and somewhat in tune with the real world.
So yeah, not much resembling hell, unless you count wherever HE lives. Oh, and Roseanne Barr's old home.
