The Asari present as female (actually, I'd need to go back to the codex in ME and ME2 to check but I believe that they are referred to as "female" in there). Their reproduction isn't via "sex" as we think of it since they can take genetic material from either gender of most (all?) other species to serve as the "father" set. How this collection is done is left very vague - as far as I can tell it's probably much like the permutaion of the Vulcan mind meld Spock did on McCoy to leave his soul/personality/self/whatever behind for new body implanting except they implant it and their half in the child (or something like that)...
Having just played ME1 very recently I can say for sure that there are no characters in that game that one would classify as hermaphroditic.

I have a feeling the Asari have no such organs. They just use their skin.
I came in here thinking that Mass Effect 3 would cater to hermaphrodites. I was wrong. You continue to disappoint, Bioware. When can I have freaky hermaphrodite sex in my Mass Effect games? When?
