High Moon Studios, Inc. is a company that makes video gamesHigh Moon Studios is a subsidiary of Sierra Entertainment and is most well-known for the Bourne franchise.
When Sega and Sammy merged in 2004, the merger produced a large amount studios including Sammy Studios. This studio was meant to bring Sammy into the video games industry, though before the studio could produce a game, they broke away from Sega Sammy. Sammy Studios renamed themselves High Moon Studios and were quickly acquired by Vivendi Games, which it became part of Sierra Entertainment.High Moon Studios released their first game later that year, Darkwatch. However, since development had began prior to High Moon being acquired by Vivendi, the game was published by Capcom in the United States and Ubisoft in the United Kingdom. High Moon's first game developed for Sierra was released in 2008, The Bourne Conspiracy. This was High Moon's first of many planned games based on the Bourne franchise, however the licensed was lost during Activision's acquisition process of Vivendi's assets.
