Secret missions is told through 10 main missions on both sides of the conflict. The first five are played by the Confederate point of view, while the latter five are played on the Union side. The missions are set in no chronological order and are independent from each other, and each mission has one or more main objectives, as well as one bonus objective. The missions are spread over the whole conflict ranging from Gettysburg to Vicksburg.
Weapons
Featured in the games arsenal are authentic weapons used during the Civil War. All rifles in the game are breach loading, except for the Whitworth rifle which uses muzzle loading. The player may hold two weapons of any kind at a time, ammunition is found throughout each level in small containers, which replenishes the ammo of both carried weapons, and gives you five grenades.
