Um, where's the stealth?  The trailer kinda gives the wrong impression.

#5 Posted by PirateNeal (269 posts) -

I really hope one fo the guys got to go to the private demo they were doing at E3 so they can talk about it. I have been hearing good things

I hope that's Diana... and that he's not there to kill her.

#14 Posted by sandwich_adjustment (685 posts) -

thats is some good ass 3D renderz yal

#15 Posted by colinjw (222 posts) -

It is "Jason Statham" the game. I'm cool with that.

#16 Posted by Simulacrum (462 posts) -

Please don't screw this up IO.

#17 Posted by Devildoll (897 posts) -

i hope the game has more sneaking and isnt just a rambo brawler like this trailer almost makes it seem.

#18 Posted by springtoast (35 posts) -

CG trailers never amaze me, but I do very much hope the actual game will be good.

I think you're totally right, that's probably Diana.

I only vaguely remembered her from Blood Money (been a while), but i think it's quite possible.

GUN SNAKE!

Agent 47?? More like Agent 69!!! *ZIP*

#21 Posted by BulletproofMonk (2725 posts) -

I don't know how to feel about this trailer. I'm a huge fan of the previous Hitman games, and I don't want them to fuck this up. I've got faith in IO though, and I think they know what they're fans want.

I think it's Diana.

Blood Money was just a really really polished game, at least on the PC/360 version. Really well done. I have a lot of high hopes for this.

Well it has to be. She's the only one who knows him by his designation. Only woman at least?

The previews I've read for this game have me really excited and I did love Blood Money. Also Undeadpool, that pun was reallllly bad but I appreciate it.

#25 Posted by Nomin (978 posts) -

The trailer, in trying to capture the attention with flashy action, missed the point of Hitman gameplay.

#26 Posted by Beaudacious (930 posts) -
@PhatSeeJay:  It is Diana, since this game is about betrayal. What greater betrayal could there be in a hitman game?
#27 Posted by myslead (929 posts) -

didn't Diana sort of saved him in Blood Money?

I'm pretty sure this is just a cover up to get her out of there.

and 47 do look super pissed, I mean he DIED ahah

#28 Posted by Terjay (820 posts) -

Smooooooth, didn't even mess his suit.

#29 Posted by GoldenGlove (54 posts) -

47 > Snake + Sam Fisher + whoever else

#30 Posted by MrChaz (61 posts) -

Despite punching all those dudes whilst carry a gun that was actually pretty damn cool.

#31 Posted by billyblaze (63 posts) -

@TekZero: If this really is Diana, I suspect that this is a rather personal mission - at least that's how I interpret his Rambo approach. Even 47 can lose his cool head once in a while.

#32 Posted by Greenshoes (284 posts) -

First game i bought for my 360 was blood money, that was 5 years ago, finally!!

#33 Posted by iAmJohn (6127 posts) -

The fuck is this? I'm with @colinjw and totally cool with playing Jason Statham: The Game, but if you're calling it Hitman you're really doing it wrong.

#34 Posted by Ineedaname (4319 posts) -

Don't look into the action in the trailer, break it down, piano wire, golf club, the suit, the way he entered the building, the drowning of the dude, the single baller.

It's all looking nicely when you extract it.

Jason Statham: The Game would be the BEST GAME.

"Right trigger: British accent" awwww yeah

Trailer looks awesome. Let's just hope the gameplay isn't some fucking quick-time-one-button-press-simplified-brutal-animation bullshit (like SC Conviction for example).

#39 Posted by Agent47CSim2 (1085 posts) -

Awesome! :D

#40 Posted by kerse (2117 posts) -

Geez Square Enix is publishing everything now.

#41 Posted by Rewcastle (400 posts) -

I think he's returning to Diana because he doesn't know what to do with his life after the last game. I dont think he knows how to live life, just kill. Thats what i got from it.

#42 Posted by rusted3572 (28 posts) -

Never managed to get into any of the previous games. despite trying, but I', looking forward to this!

#43 Posted by Gumby (229 posts) -

From the Hitman: Absolution Wiki page:
 "So far what is known

  • A new cover system that allows 47 to not only take cover but roll to and from avaliable cover.
  • 47 can now effectively hide in the shadows as a means of stealth
  • Kills can be preformed from a ledge with an enemy above
  • 47 has an improved variety of physical attacks allowing him to take out multiple enemies at once
  • 47 can now choke people with his bare hands"
God i hope they put all these points on the back of the box... especially that last one... in all caps and bold!
#44 Posted by TheHT (11513 posts) -

47's back and he's PISSED. Now 83.7% more raw.

#45 Posted by SockLobster (456 posts) -

So basically it's Hitman: Conviction

Action stealth confirmed

Personal mission and breaking rules to get answers confirmed

Multiple enemy takedowns confirmed

It better still have disguises damn it!

I just hope it's more "hotel"/"suburban" levels where you're just trying to be the killer that sneaks in plain sight etc. When Hitman went a bit too much jungle/base/a bunch of dudes at the same time, it was just not as much fun anymore. If there's something Assassin's Creed has taught us, it should be that it's always fun being the badass with the upper hand and tricks up your sleeves (literally, ahoy!).

Even though this is CG, trailers don't come much better than this. Sooo good.
