    A lazy rock band roadie who ends up in the 18th Century where he has to help prevent Purple Tentacle from taking over the world.

    Hoagie and his friends Bernard and Laverne end up in a time machine one fateful night at Dr Fred's Mansion. Laverne ends up in the 22nd century, Bernard in the present and Hoagie in the 18th century. 
     
    As one of DoTT's three playable characters, Hoagie has to do his part in the past to alter events in the future, helping Bernard and Laverne foil the plans of the evil, mutated Purple Tentacle. On his quest, he comes across famous historical figures like George Washington and Benjamin Franklin, the latter of which recruits Hoagie for a dangerous lightning experiment.
