Hulda

Overview

Hulda is a Nord and the owner of The Bannered Mare in Whiterun. If you enter the inn, she will greet the player with "Come on in. Let me know if you need anything, or take a seat by the fire and I'll send someone over." Sitting at any chair, even the ones in directly in front of Hulda, will cause Hulda to call out to Saadia for her to serve you. She plans to sell The Bannered Mare to Ysolda and retiring. Ysolda also tells the player her intentions of buying The Bannered Mare. If Hulda dies, Ysolda will take over The Bannered Mare.

Hulda sells innkeeper merchandise if asked what she sells, and also offers a bed for the night for 10 gold. She will also accept firewood for 5 gold each, increasing her disposition and allowing Dovahkiin to take low-valued items from the inn. She will give bounties for the Jarl of Whiterun (Balgruuf the Greater or Vignar Gray-Mane, depending on civil war progress).
