In The Hunt for the Sega Saturn, PSX and arcade

I've been trying to figure out what the title of this game was for a long time. Its the first game i ever played, i used to play it almost every day with my brother, must've completed it well over a hundred times, but it's only in the last few years that ive been getting the nostalgia pangs and remembered it.

Of course, me being very young at the time, i couldn't remember the name of the game and have spent the last few years trying to find it and today, i finally did!

So, the first thing i did was head on over to the developer's/publisher's site to see if there was any way to get it legitimately from them, but alas, while they share the name of the devs for In the Hunt, they no longer hold the rights for the game, in fact, after a lot of digging around it's pretty clear that the game has been lost to limbo.

That made me feel better about my next step, getting an emulator and iso. Now im not the most tech savvy guy around, and all of the PSX and Saturn emu's that weren't still in alpha and buggy as hell, were crazy complicated, so that idea went right out the window fairly quickly.

This is when my most brilliant idea of the day came to me, try to find an arcade cabinet of it!
So i set myself a budget of £250 which is around what i expected it to cost as its not a popular title, but as i live in the UK, even the most common of cabinets are bloody hard to find so again, i was stumped.

It was at this point that i realised how much of an idiot i was being, because i own a fucking PSOne and a Sega Saturn!! I could just buy a hard copy and be done with it.
So that's exactly what i did, i bought the Playstation version of the game for £6 from Amazon, and i couldn't be happier.

I'm pretty sure this feeling is on a par with the you get when you become a dad!.......probably.......but dont quote me on that.

I've never played this game, but from the screenshots it looks pretty bloody ace. I might have to do some investigatorising and see if I can't get hold of a copy.

@buzz_clik: its made by the same team of devs that did the metal slug series, so it gets pretty damn hectic and has a great art style. Definitely worth a look

Patrick just mentioned it on Nostalgiafest 2011.  I dug up my copy and I'm glad I did.  Game's awesome!
